Well it’s now confirmed that the Patriots have been cheating since Bill took over in 2000
What makes it worse is that the commish of the NFL knew it from the start and still didn’t suspend Bill for 7 years of cheating, It also furthor explains why the tapes were all destroyed so quickly so reporters wouldn’t find out how this did taint the beloved golden boy of the nfl, the nfls beloved dynasty of this decade, as well as tarnish the NFL’s legacy.
By destorying the tapes, the NFL will use the without the tapes we can’t be certain/I don’t recall card throughout the congressional hearing. From the sound of the article the senator is fairly aggetated with it and may push further. Granted, I think that senate should be doing other things then pursing sports, it’s good that the NFL is going to have to face up to their wrong doings.
Hopefully everything will come clear and there is no speculation anymore as to what the impact these tapes had, however with the tapes destroyed it’s likely to never happen. The nfl will attempt to keep everyone talking about steriods and baseball, and once that topic is closed people will have forgotten about the decade of cheating.
