Sony Surprise

So the latest craze on the interwebs is Sony is planning something big to follow it’s relaunching of it’s PS store next thursday. They already have a big month on hand, the new Store, mgs4 beta, GT5 Prolouge all pretty much hit the same day(IIRC the beta starts on friday, but u can dl on thursday). The month also ends with gta4, arguably the biggest game of this year that won’t include the word mario(don’t forget mario kart comes soon =D). Apparantly that is all supposed to be the pretty girl to distract you will they work their magic in another direction. The rumors seem hint at Home at least getting a solid date. As alot of what’s being tossed around seems to be involving the PS3 online services meeting what the 360 offers(in game XMB, unified friends list, ingame chat so forth and so on).
Hopefully some truth to this rumor exist, i’m skeptical though if any of the things being tossed around were going to be released, what reason would sony have to hide it? My best guess is that something will be tacked on, like in game XMB, however i’d expet it to be marketings latest and greatest technique. Viral marketing, so I’m doing my part and blogging it up, Let’s see what happens on the 17th.

*chuckles* I had no idea when I made that thread how many other people would latch onto it. BTW, Home has nothing to do with it. And how did you screw up my magician reference? I never said anything about a pretty girl!
