How was i not made aware of this? MK + DC = win

I can honestly say I haven’t been excited for a Mortal Kombat game ever. Fighting games have never really been my cup of tea, I’m not good at remembering combinations which means there is a limit to how far I can progress in the game. However that said what it looks like midway is trying to do looks really sweet, and a little risky. It’s looking like in order to get the kiddies to buy the game they are going to stay away from the M rating. However the game still is keeping it’s dark style. It’s also adding something that looks pretty cool, fighting while your dropping from level to level. They are also apparently adding some sort of close combat thing and ditching the swap your stance on the fly of previous MK games.
I’m really interested in seeing how this game pans out, even if it suck’s, it’s still a better use of a seemingly random license then what Soul Caliber is doing by throwing in Darth Vadar and Yoda into their quest for a sword game. Why in the hell would someone with a light saber want a sword? oh well, check out the vid
