Computer nearly complete, the future of the mikelikes

Well sometime this week(wends prob) the remaining parts I need to have a working computer will arrive. I’ll have to use my TV as a monitor for a while and I’m still looking to pick up another HDD(either a 10k RPM ’small’ HDD or a 1.5 TB HDD) and 2 more gigs of ram. Which should be good news if you’ve been hoping for some more frequent updates as well the return of reviews as I’ll be able to have the game at my side while I type it up for reference and look up…as well as to get side tracked ;)

The site will likely get a much needed update and I’m considering starting up another site to keep my asp.net skills sharp…but I’m still not sure what to do with that, more details on it once I make up my mind. I’m considering completing redoing this as well to make it look more like a ‘news’ site and less like a blog, but if I did do that, it’s likely i’d snag another domain. However…If I decide to do that, I’d need to dedicate myself much more to the site than I intend on…so who knows.

It certainly would be neat to become apart of the press and get the chance to go to some of the west coast conventions and cover them :) but since there is no real money in that, I don’t see it happening since I do have a job after all.

So once I get the computer and everything set up, I’ll be able to make up my mind exactly in if I’ll work on a side project or look to take the basics of this site ‘more serious’.

In other news, Rock Band 2 is now out on the ps3 and hopefully I’ll be able to pick that up today after work, so for the locals if you want to play some RB2 you know where to head ;)
